As a principal with the CFO Centre, my role involves working with small, mid-sized organizations and startups to provide part time CFO services. This allows organizations to leverage my experience, expertise and leadership at a fraction of the cost of a traditional full time CFO. I have worked extensively in remote/virtual environments and also provide virtual CFO services.
I am a finance and business leader with 25 years of corporate management and consulting experience within financial services, manufacturing, CPG and technology. In the past 10 years, I have also served as a CFO, COO and senior business adviser, helping fund, launch and support growth in the technology and e-commerce sectors and small to mid-sized businesses. I have led financial operations for e-commerce and private sector clients from seed to multi-million dollar organizations. I specialize in securing private debt and equity funding, government funding and lending and has worked with startups and mid-sized growth organizations to ensure working capital and cash needed to scale. My expertise also includes building, and leading local and remote teams in the Americas, Europe and Asia. I have a proven track record of success in developing the necessary financial and operational infrastructure needed to scale for rapid expansion and growth. I hold a black belt in Six Sigma and has implemented operational and efficiency initiatives that have driven millions in cost savings for organizations such as General Electric and Canadian Tire Financial Services, along with private organizations. My experience includes leading the transition of US based organizations through tax savings initiatives including the setup of off-shore banking and secured key tax declarations that led to a tax rate reduction from over 30% to 4%.
